We welcome your application for admission to the Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree at UKZN.
Please note the portfolio requirements on the attached document. You are strongly advised to adhere to specifications as per the requirements.
The University Community is reminded that the Coronavirus remains a serious threat to health and life despite the country having recently moved to Level 1 in its COVID-19 strategy. Health and safety protocols must continue to be strictly adhered to, if a resurgence of the disease is to be averted.
We must continue to observe all health and safety protocols. Please be advised that The College office staff are still working remotely.
In light of this, the Discipline of Architecture has decided to accept your portfolios via digital submission.
- In the digital submission and hard copy portfolio, all work needs to be hand drawn, hand signed and dated.
- Your CAO number must appear on all your work.
- If you are in matric, your trial results must be included.
- Please keep your physical portfolio safe because you will be required to submit this at a later stage, the date of which you will be advised accordingly.

The onus is on you to ensure that you adhere strictly to the 4 points highlighted above.
Closing date for the digital submission is 16 November 2020.
